About

Who am I?

I was raised in a Christian household, and I came to faith personally when I was 7. I didn’t start to understand what faith meant until I started middle school. Then, a lot of friends of mine chose to start ignoring their faith, and even ignored me when I talked about it. Thankfully, I was able to start serving the church by playing on the worship team once a month. That is what sparked my passion for worship ministry. When I was 13, first felt like I was called into ministry. Since then, that has driven every decision I have made in my life. I learned guitar again because I wanted to start leading worship, so my youth pastor started having me lead Wednesday nights as well. My senior year I took an internship at another church in our town. While it was tough for me to leave my parents’ church, I was able to learn about worship ministry, tech ministry, and get a lot of good experience as a music director. While there, I decided that I wanted to pursue ministry full-time, and decided to go to school for it. That has led me to GCU, where I am currently finishing up a degree in Worship Arts with an emphasis in Worship Ministry. From here, I am planning to pursue a career working in ministry while also continuing my education by completing a master of arts in Theology.
